Planning a fun, relaxing, and romantic date can be challenging. We did the hard work for you and outlined three exciting itineraries that all work for morning, mid-day, and after dark.

CORONADO

#1. TAKE A BOAT

Take a quick cruise over to Coronado Island: Flagship Cruises & Events offers ferry rides for $5 one-way throughout the day.

#2. TAKE A BIKE

You can easily wander around the island on foot, but it’s even more fun to rent bicycles and zip along the Silver Strand bike path.

#3. TAKE A BITE

After enjoying spectacular views of downtown and the Coronado Bay Bridge, head to Orange Avenue and grab a bite to eat at a restaurant that catches your eye.

#4. TAKE A LOOK

Walk through the iconic Hotel Del Coronado and along the beach…bonus points if you arrive here during sunset!

Little Italy

#1. Look

Wander through the Museum of Contemporary Art near Santa Fe Station.

#2. Chat

Chat about your favorite pieces over a drink: Stone Brewing Tap Room and Craft & Commerce are two great options near the museum.

#3. Eat

Share a meal at one of the neighborhood’s many intimate restaurants before…

#4. Listen

…seeing a live show at Music Box. (Okay, that last step requires a little planning! Check out the Music Box website for upcoming shows and tickets.)

Pacific Beach

#1. Brunch

What’s more relaxing than an epic ocean view? Start with brunch at JRDN at the Tower23 hotel. A mimosa paired with people-watching on the boardwalk is a recipe for great conversation.

#2. Stroll

Take a walk along Crystal Pier and along the Ocean Front Walk (the official, fancy name for the boardwalk).

#3. Drink

…grabbing a drink at Waterbar.

#4. Pop

Pop into some of PB’s boutique shops and see where the day takes you!
