The Fowler House is a family owned and operated event space. Tucked away in Jamul,CA but still 20 minutes from downtown San Diego. The Fowler House offers all the wilderness without the commute. Sitting on top of 8 acres and surrounded by olive trees, our space is truly one of a kind. In addition to events, The Fowler House is working on finishing the yurt area so we can break into retreats, think yoga weekend under the stars with an excellent chef and tons of wine :). The Fowler House is a tranquil space we are wanting to start sharing with everyone.
Why do you love San Diego?
San Diego is home. I could sit here and say I love San Diego because of the weather, which is really the most basic answer. But the real reason why I love San Diego is because of all the elements it offers. You can go from having a fish taco at the beach to a pie in the mountains in less than an hour. Also, I may be biased but the born and raised San Diegans (referred to as unicorns I was once told) are the nicest people.
What’s a perfect Saturday in San Diego to you?
Brunch at Bali Hai which overlooks the San Diego bay. Then, heading down to Coin Op downtown grabbing an IPA and playing skeeball.
What are your favorite things to do when family or friends visit from out of town? We love to take family and friends to The Lafayette Pool (if weather permits), False Idol, Balboa Park (international houses on Sundays), Mister A’s really anywhere with that San Diego Wow Factor.
